NIH Sex and Gender Differences in Cancer - Population Sciences
The NIH Sex and Gender Differences in Cancer Virtual Workshop Series will feature four 3-hour virtual sessions on different aspects of this topic between February and June 2024. This series of virtual workshops will bring together those that are interested in sex and gender differences in cancer in the areas of basic biology, genomics, epigenetics, immunology, clinical/translational science, as well as population science, to not only learn about the latest research findings but to also identify gaps in our knowledge, identify potential collaborative opportunities, and learn best practices for methodology and reporting.

The Lancet Commission on Women, Power, and Cancer was created to address issues at the intersection of social inequality, cancer risk and outcomes, and the status of women in society. This session at ASCO's 2024 Annual Meeting will serve as the North American launch of the Commission Report.

Think Tank on Advancing Gastric Cancer Prevention
The Think Tank on Advancing Gastric Cancer Prevention aims to provide an interactive forum for a multidisciplinary group of experts to review the current research and resources for gastric cancer prevention. This forum will feature "lightning talks" and small group discussions to address challenges in the field and identify areas for future national and international research in gastric cancer prevention and control.
